Regulatory Requirements
Your custom is very important to us. Whether you are an individual, or a corporate customer, eurochange Ltd and our partners value your business, and the trust that you place in us. As a customer facing financial institution we at eurochange Ltd, take our responsibility extremely seriously and would like to make it clear how we work hard to protect you.
We are regulated by two individual authorities - Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), each having rules and regulations for different products within of our business. At each of our eurochange branches, through our corporate relationships, and through our website, we work hard to ensure that our staff are fully compliant with the policies and procedures that have been put in place to ensure that your and our business are protected.
HMRC governs our foreign exchange products and services, including our branch network and website. Each of our locations is registered as a Money Service Business. HMRC completes regular reviews of our policies, performance and their implementation, via visits to our head office and our branches. Our Money Service Business registration number is 12117902.
For our International Payments (Quick Transfer) business we are authorised by the FCA under the Payment Service Regulations. Our registration reference is 534703.
Amongst the requirements of the Payment Services Regulations, we are required to ensure that all clients’ funds, are held in a separate client bank account to our own company funds. This ensures that clients’ money is ‘ring-fenced’ and secure at all times.
Further details of how the HMRC and FCA govern our business are available on their websites.
